Well, after a 36+ hour sleep dep experiment, I am now through two days of (frankly, really interesting) classes in the FD&C Act.

San Diego is really lovely, and not actually overpoweringly warm. Some of that, I suspect, is because we are literally on the ocean. I can see the aircraft carrier Midway from my hotel room.

Now, I know that some of you have spent far, far more time in San Diego than I have, and I'm wondering where to eat and what to do for fun. I'm a few minutes walk from the Gaslamp Quarter. I saw a tall ship museum coming in and think that that would be nifty, and I've heard the Aquarium is really nice. The Zoo is a long way away (I don't have a car), but I'm right on the trolley line (the Seaside Village stop) so if the trolley goes out there, I'm all good.

All Knowledge is Contained on the Internet, so I'm asking y'all for some advice. My food selections thus far have been...unappetizing, though some of that is due to my current lack of smell. (Which is going away! I like getting better!)

Thoughts and ideas?

Oh, and first class really is nice, especially when you feel really crappy. (And no, the government did not pay for me to go first class.)
