No NaNo for me this year
Nov. 1st, 2018 10:17 pmI just realized that today is the start of NaNoWriMo. And I have not written.
And realistically, I will not write. The story that's itching in my head is quiescent, and what's taken its place is the G scale.
Yes, I am back to trying to do at least some piano every day. I picked up Learn Piano In 24 Hours from the library, and I seem to be doing okay with it. I drill everything in the previous lessons until I'm okay with it, and then I do new stuff until my brain hurts. Right now, I'm working on the G and D scales, and since I am a complete n00b at sight reading, this lesson is really slow. But I'm plugging away at it, and I like the results.
So no NaNo -- I don't have the bandwidth right now. But maybe by November 30th, I'll have completed lesson 10.
